Last night saw us take to Green park all in the name of Fedro Gaudenzi. Fedro Gaudenzi Limited held a private viewing and we went to see. The Brand launched 7 other brands that night, THE TROUSERS, THE THING, THE SHIRT , THE JACKET , THE COAT, THE SCARF, THE CAPE and did it in no where more fitting. While we walked around the Design studio/ Production suit/ Home of the designer, we just felt as if we were in his head, apart of his creativity and thinking and it was simple, beautiful and organic. 

 

The garments kept this balance, hanging on Wires and illuminated by lamp shades over his bed,  the clean cuts, draping and Layering was beautiful but nothing in compared to the Bespoke pair of Trousers we got speaking to Gaudenzi about and really understanding it's production. The four Layers of Burnt Silk and Organza delicately layered together to create an updated and bespoke version of the brand signature "The Trousers" was loved in abundance. 

 

The attention to detail throughout the collection made it just so much more dynamic while being kept minimal. The Unseasonal Colour Palette (Black and White) and Wool Fabric used in the trouser with cotton and satin pocketing, the jacket, wool and cashmere blend suit jacket with double vent hand stitched habotai silk lining  with jet pockets empathised the designers dislike of Seasons. " I just don't understand them, there no point" Gaudenzi said and how we agree. 

 

The Collection is set to be in the process of finalising stockist here in the heart of London where we have no doubt it will take pride of place.
